I’m Kim, a freelance painter and illustrator based in Berlin. I was born in Israel and grew up living in England, Germany and Israel. As a child i was constantly surrounded by music and art, which left a deep impact on me.

I love painting faces and people, especially of otherworldly essence, abstract dreamscapes that convey the feeling of being a grain of sand in the vastness of the universe.
Life itself is my muse – the seen and the unseen worlds, within and without. Additionally, the worlds of Norse and Celtic mythology have always inspired me and hold a special place in my heart.

I’ve always been somewhat of a hermit, finding sanctuary in the quiet corners of my own world, preferring solitude over bustling gatherings. Painting is my form of therapy, a way to express what words cannot.

Watercolors and gouache are my current favorite among various mediums. Right now, my focus is on my 'Creature Series,' a project that is dear to me, showcased on this website.
